Pines Point Campground

Located on the scenic White River, Pines Point Campground offers a unique camping experience. There are many things to do and see, including fishing, hiking, tubing or just relaxing.

LOCATION

Pines Point Campground is located in Oceana County, Michigan. The nearest community is Hesperia.

ACCESS

From Hesperia, go west on Hwy M-20 to 192nd Ave. Turn south for 1 mile to Garfield Road, then right (west) for 3 miles. Turn left (south) on 168th Avenue (Forest Road 5118). Follow the blacktop to the campground.

FACILITIES AVAILABLE

33 campsites equipped with extended end tables and raised barbecue grills.
Flush toilets in the camping loop.
Vault toilets in the group area and in the picnic area.
Running water in campground with accessible water faucets.

SEASON

Pines Point Campground is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend. Please contact the Baldwin Ranger Station regarding dates outside the normal season (231) 745-4631).

FEES

Contact the Ranger Station in Baldwin for a list of fees. each site accommodates as many as 8 people and 2 vehicles. Larger parties can camp together in the group area.

CONSIDERATIONS

Care should be taken to keep the area clean and in the condition it was found, so visitors are asked to please pack out what they pack in.
The river bank is steep in many areas, however easy river access can be had in the vicinity of the picnic area and at the canoe access.
