White Cloud, Michigan is the geographical center of Newaygo County and the County seat.
Located some 50 miles north of Grand Rapids, it's history is tied to the Ottawa
Indians who inhabited the area long before the lumber barons from the East arrived to
harvest the great White Pine forests in the 1870's.
