Alley Lake Picnic Area

Alley Lake Picnic Area offers a road-side stop the family will be sure to enjoy. The picnic area offers plenty of room to walk, stretch, or just relax. The small, secluded Alley Lake provides opportunities for fishing for bass or panfish. A small, carry-in boat launch is also available, but is not suitable for larger boats.

LOCATION

The Alley Lake Picnic Area is located in Newaygo County, Michigan. The nearest community is White Cloud, about 3 1/2 miles northeast.

ACCESS

From White Cloud, go west on Echo Drive (Wilcox Avenue in White Cloud) about 3 1/2 miles from M-37 to Alley Lake and the picnic area entrance drive.

There are no fees charged for the use of this area.

CONSIDERATIONS

Care should be taken to keep the area clean and in the condition it was found, so visitors are asked to please pack out what they pack in.
Picnic sites are available on a first come, first serve basis.
There is no beach area provided for swimming.
Overnight camping is not permitted at the Alley Lake Picnic Area.
